Lilah & Lewis talk Music!
Lilah Fear and Lewis Gibson are two-time Olympians, representing Team GB at the Beijing (2022) and Milano Cortina (2026) Winter Games, and compete on the International Skating Union circuit.
Lilah and Lewis are known for their focus on bold music choices to accompany their routines - who better to be ClicknClear brand ambassadors?!
We caught up with them recently at their training base in Montreal, Canada, to get exclusive behind the scenes information on all things music...
On their relationship with music, both personally and in their sport:
"When we started choosing music that lit us up, we had our breakthrough year, and I don't think that's a coincidence."
On the decision making that goes into choosing music for a routine:
"We like to start looking for music very early. It's hard to rush the process, you have to spend time to find the gem that we are going to skate to."
"Its important to use music you love - we're the ones pressing 'play' on the ice at 7:00 a.m. when we're exhausted, so what does it do for us, [does it] make us passionate, excited, creative."
On creating their music mix:
"We have been up to version 60-something of our mix - it's a process all season."
On choreographing their routine to the music:
"The routine we start the season with is not the one you see at the World Championships - we change our choreography every single day."
